Payment

 

A deposit of 20% of your rental charges is required to secure your dates.

 

This can be made by check/cheque in $US, £GB or by a credit card payment through PayPal.

 

Payment of the balance is due 56 days before the start of your stay.

 

For bookings made within 56 days of your arrival, the full amount is payable

 

A security deposit of £200GB/$300US is also required, refunded immediately after your departure.


Conditions of Booking

1. Making your booking

Once we have received your booking form and deposit, we will confirm your stay by email to the party leader. Please tell us at this point if any information is incorrect.

2. Payment

In order to confirm your stay, a deposit of 20% of the full payment (or full payment if booking within 56 days of departure) must be paid at the time of booking. This deposit is not refundable

The balance of the cost of your stay must be received by us not less than 56 days prior to departure (or at the time of booking if this date has passed).

3. Security Deposit

We will take a PayPal payment of $300US/£200GB as a security deposit. This is to cover major breakages (not cups, etc). If there are no such problems, we will make a PayPal refund at no cost to either of us.

4. The cost of your stay

The price of your stay will be confirmed at the time of booking. This price will not rise, even if the booking is for a future period, by which time the price of new bookings may have risen.

5. Changes by you

Should you wish to make any changes to your confirmed booking, please notify us by email as soon as possible. We should normally be able to accommodate your requests, except of course where it conflicts with other bookings.

6. Cancellation by you

Should you need to cancel your stay once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately advise us in writing (e-mail's fine). Unfortunately, since we may be unable to re-sell your period of stay, we cannot make any refunds. 

You should be able to reclaim these cancellation costs under your travel insurance.

7. Insurance

It is strongly recommended that you take out adequate travel insurance, to avoid any problems with unforeseen events and unavoidable cancellation.

8. Changes and cancellation by us

We are extremely unlikely to encounter any problems with overbooking, etc, as we only have one house. However, if anything changes (good or bad) we will tell you as soon as possible.

9. Liability

As we are not a commercial company, we obviously can't get into liability, compensation, etc . for anything we can't control – such as accidents, anything other people do or your own actions.

10. Problems.

If you have any problems with your stay whilst away, please contact our management company. If you have any other problem, please let us know after you come home (or if there's anything you want to say about the management company).

11. Composition of Party

It is a condition of booking the home that no more than 8 people (not counting infants) are in occupancy at any time. Additionally, at least one member of the party must be over the age of 21. Breach of these requirements will invalidate the booking.

12. Acceptance

By paying a deposit towards the rental of the property, you are deemed to have accepted all these conditions.
